Gmail to cell phone
«

Guys, I need your help.
http://www.googletutor.com/2005/03/25/gmail-to-your-phone/
I have been to that site on how to forward mail to my mobile. But I don't seem to be able to get it working. Has anyone tried that before? I would have used the Mobile Gmail app, but that's not my cup of tea.
Thanks all.

Is there any service fee for it? like do you have to pay a certain amount of money per text message recieved or is it free just like recieving a regular text message?

I already have the Gmail application downloaded onto my phone. Just go to google.com on your mobile browser and you can download it from there. Why don't you like it?

I'm not sure that they're referring to the actual application, but if you could have the emails sent as text messages.
If that is the case, I doubt it would work because text messages are only met to hold a little number of characters.

Ah ok, now I understand. And yes, I agree with Quack - a text message can only hold so much.
